The Official Mom's Surprise Birthday Celebration ~ Yolanda's 80th

On Saturday, May 25th 2024, our family had flown in from far away to join us for my mother Yolanda's 80th birthday celebation at my place! It was so wonderful to spend time with them! I had so much media to work with that it was difficult to edit this little movie. I wanted to include it all!

The first few minutes was from a special Vicens family hike we did two days before at the El Dorado Nature Center in Long Beach. It was a perfect day! After that, we went to a nearby Sizzler. My cousin Elliot joined up with us and right behind him, my mother's "baby brother, Ury walked up! My mother was overjoyed to see him. We went back to my folks house and I had to leave a few minutes later to pick up my sister from the airport. She flew in from across the pond. My mom was shocked to see her walk up too! The cover story was that we were going to get dressed up to take some family photos for her birthday. What she didn't know is that there were 50 more people who were also going to be there.

It all came together splendidly! I appreciate all the effort from my extended family, my aunt, my uncle & cousins, lifelong friends and neighbors who showed up to help celebrate my mom's special day. Much love to all of you. enjoy!
