This Incredibly Smart Crow Uses Passing Cars To Crack Walnut

While many consider humans to be the “smartest” beings to live on our planet, when you look at how some animals interact with each other, you might begin to doubt that well known “fact.” We know and we read all the time how smart are cats, or dogs or even horses. But, have you ever thought about how much birds are smart! We think they are underrated! We all know that birds are not birdbrains, in the traditional sense of the phrase, at all. This super smart crow in Skopje, Macedonia places a walnut on a busy street in hopes that a car will run it over and crack it open. It then repeatedly drops the nut from a 4-meter height in a second attempt to open it. How smart is that? We are so glad this incredible moment is caught on camera so we can give some credit so this smart crow!

In fact, crows, who we see as pesky, loud, and sometimes even creepy creatures, are some of the smartest animals out there.
