Lego Hand Clips (Has anyone else noticed this?)

Lego Transformers require multiple types of clips, ball joints and other unique attaching joint pieces in order to make interesting transformable joints and points of robot articulation. The problem I’ve been seeing is over a few transformation these clips get looser and looser and develop cracks, this causes the clip not to hold any more and eventually the clip breaks in half. I was wondering how many other Lego enthusiasts have run into these issue, especial if you built poseable characters or Lego Transformers.
