Leilani Simon has been in custody since her November 2022 arrest related to the death of her son, Quinton Simon-20-month-old. She faces charges including murder, concealing a death, falsely reporting a crime, and multiple counts of lying to investigators. The toddler’s remains were found in a landfill after investigators sifted through thousands of tons of garbage.
