Walt Disney Presents - Disneyland '61 (1961)

In this episode of Walt's TV Show, Walt introduces America to the latest additions to his theme park. We see the update to the Jungle Cruise, we see the extension added to the Monorail, there's Snow White's Grotto, additions to the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Submarines, among other things. Some of the stock footage of the park comes from the TV Broadcast Disneyland '59. The Sherman Bros also contributed a theme song for the episode celebrating the new additions to Disneyland.

This segment originally aired with the True-Life Adventure The Olympic Elk, but we've only included the Adventureland segment for historical purposes. The Olympic Elk was released to DVD in 2006.
