"He was rolling his eyes when I brought up the fact that the same thing had been done to her and it p****d me off because we’re in the middle of a court case," Eddy said. Briggs said he didn't even know who Eddy was at the time and only knew of one instance where his daughter was disciplined but said he had nothing to do with it. Eddy has been accused of racism for the incident.
