God of War Ragnarök Trailer (2022)

God of War Ragnarök is an action-adventure game released by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by Santa Monica Studio. It was released globally on November 9, 2022, for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, marking the series' first cross-gen release. It is the series' ninth installment, the ninth chronologically, and the sequel to 2018's God of War. The game is loosely based on Norse mythology and is set in ancient Scandinavia, with the series protagonist, Kratos, and his now teenage son, Atreus. The game concludes the series' Norse era with Ragnarök, an eschatological event crucial to Norse mythology that was predicted in the previous game after Kratos killed the Aesir god Baldur.
