The Best Vintage 35mm Lens for Mirrorless Cameras?

Today we are going to try using a vintage lens in the form of the Minolta MC W. Rokkor HG 35mm f/2.8. This vintage Minolta lens is nearly 60 years old, yet the Minolta MC W. Rokkor HG 35mm lens is still working today. I have heard so often online about people chasing the film look with modern digital cameras, and some have offered the use of vintage camera lenses as the answer. I have this vintage Minolta lens, as well as an adapter to fit it to my Sony a7IV. The Minolta MC W. Rokkor HG 35mm lens that we have for this video comes from the 1960's. How will a vintage lens perform in the field? Will using a vintage lens result in a film like look? How will this vintage Minolta lens change the look of colors on the camera? Will I be able to get the images in focus while using this Minolta Rokkor vintage lens?

In order to find out I will be taking this Minolta MC W. Rokkor 35mm vintage lens to Coonskin park near Charleston, West Virginia and follow the Elk River trail. I expect the video produced with this Minolta MC W. Rokkor vintage lens to produce somewhat shaky video without any stabilization. Join us, and lets see what happens when we adapt a vintage lens to a modern mirrorless camera.
