Runs 2:27 | A close 27-20 game in the third quarter turned into a convincing 47-27 Chicago win at the Silverdome as the Bears outscored Detroit, 20-7, in the final 19:15 of the game. Five Detroit turnovers led to 20 Chicago points (2 TDs and 2 FGs) -- 17 of those points in the second half. Mike Tomczak turned in a brilliant effort with 302 passing yards, completing 17-of-25 passes and two TDs. RB Barry Sanders recorded his first 100-yard rushing game of his career with 126 yards on 18 carries. Return specialist Mel Gray added 165 yards on six kickoff returns.
