The Covenant of Promise (No Religion Zone)

The New Covenant is a covenant of promise. It is not a list of do's and don'ts that we have to perform but a covenant from God in Christ, giving promises by way of a finished work. Therefore, we enter rest and a life of trust. Religion hates rest, it hates promises, because nothing is required from us but having our eyes awakened to the goodness of God.
