Star Wars The Acolyte is an embarrassing exercise in bad dialogue, paper thin characters, and an utter lack of all story structure. Leslie Headland, former apprentice to dark lord Harvey Weinstein, has turned in obscure fan fiction trash. Amandla Stenberg and most of the cast come across as insulated RPG Larpers who read a Disney High Republic comic book once. In other words, it's a Disney Plus show.
