Rustic Italian Bread

I am a mentor of the 2B mindset lifestyle and I follow that lifestyle. I am also a retired professional baker/chef.

Carbohydrates are important fuel to our bodies . In 2B we recommend eating them in the morning and afternoon to give your body proper fuel for activity and give you an opportunity to burn it off.

Rustic Italian Bread -2 loaves

Straight dough

1 package of yeast -Instant or active dry

1 3/4 warm water

4 cups of water , more If dough is too wet

1T salt (can use 2t for less salty)

1T olive oil

Option mix ins and toppings

Mix , rise 1 hour or until doubled, knead and rise again 1 hr, form loaf , rise 30 min then score , bake 450 for 20 min , 400 for 20 min or until internal thermometer reads 200 degrees at center of bread. Note : cheese makes the bread darker and have speckles
