Why I’m no longer Catholic

If you were raised Catholic and no longer identify as a Christian, if the only taste of Christianity you’ve had is Catholicism and you no longer identify as Christian: I relate to and hear that story so very much. And my prayer for you is that you consider the possibility that Catholicism did not allow you to taste the fullness of Christ and that maybe there’s a deeper relationship with Him than you ever imagined available to you.

Please note: if you’re a current Catholic and feel fulfilled in Christ, this video isn’t for you—nor is it a knock on you or your faith, as I’m sure you’ll agree if you watch the video in its entirety. This is purely my own experience, bolstered by the fact that I so often hear people say they went to Catholic school growing up but are no longer religious. That was my experience for many years as well, and I didn’t know what I was missing. I thought my education and experience going to Mass growing up, had given me a good understanding, but I didn’t know that my faith could be wholly centered on Christ and His Grace alone saving me.
