June 8th, 2024 Shabbat-B'midbar (Wilderness of Glory or Complaining)

In this portion, the children of Israel leave Mount Sinai going into the wilderness toward their land of promise or inheritance by God. We have to enter this time with an attitude of receiving by faith, otherwise, we will complain. God meets all our needs. He gives us a time period in our lives to build our faith and learn that we can only rely on Him and His Kingdom. Y'shua, the Son of God, was tested in the wilderness for 40 days and He is the Son of God. Israel's lack of faith caused them to wander in the wilderness for 40 years. Many of the older generation died. May none of us be like that. Hebrews 3 and 4 go more into depth about that.
