A Dark Energon Meteor is found, The Autobots fight to keep it out of Decepticon ownership, it breaks open to reveal Thunderwing, a servant of Unicron, The Autobots are sent crashing to Earth. Megatron later uses Ratchet to repair Thunderwing, once he is repaired it's up to the Autobots to stop him
