Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

In our busy and often chaotic lives,
it’s easy to feel overwhelmed
and burdened by our responsibilities,
worries, and fears.
Today, let us take a moment to reflect
on a comforting and reassuring promise from Jesus,
found in Matthew 11:28. It says:

"Come to me,
all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest."

Jesus invites us to bring our weariness
and heavy burdens to Him.
He doesn’t promise a life free from difficulties,
but He offers us rest and peace
amidst our struggles.
This verse reminds us
that we don’t have to carry our burdens alone.
Jesus,
with His infinite love and compassion,
is always there to support us,
offering solace and strength.

Let us Pray:

Heavenly Father,
we come before You today,
grateful for Your unwavering love
and the promise of rest in Your Son,
Jesus.
We acknowledge our weariness
and the burdens we carry,
and we lay them at Your feet.
Help us to trust in Your presence
and lean on Your strength.
May we find peace and rejuvenation
in Your embrace.
Guide us through our challenges
and renew our spirits,
so we may continue to serve You with joy and faithfulness.
