In our discussion, Obinna Stanley talks about his days growing up in Nigeria, his family background and how he was able to find success in life and business with the help of other people that taught him how to trade in merchandise and helped connect him with suppliers across West Africa in his earlier days of business in Nigeria.

One important thing that he would like anyone to know about in this episode is the help he got in getting into the business world both in the city Aba in Abia State, Nigeria, and the woman that discovered him in his Church and gave him the first opportunity in his experience in the Nigerian economic terrain.

Obinna Stanley would go on to participate in the Igbo Apprenticeship Scheme where he lived for 7 years with his boss, a period in his life that proved very useful for him until this day. As he got the opportunity to learned everything that covers customer relations, Goods sourcing and procurement, dealing with suppliers, purchasing and supply.

He emphasised the importance of this training in his life and how his master took a very good care of him in that 7 years period and was responsible for all his living expenses. And upon the conclusion of the 7 years period his boss settled him by setting him up financially and materially, and at the same time put him in contact with his friends and business colleagues both in Nigeria and Ghana, and this led to business and financial breakthroughs for him.

Obinna Stanley now lives in Italy with his family and runs a Real Estate business in Nigeria, a coaching and training business in Italy where he assist, teach and give lessons to people concerning Italian drivers licence. And last but not the least, he also run a videography business called PhotoProf. He has written a book translating the manual of the Italian drivers licence into English and as at the time of recording our discussion he is working on his second book covering the same subject and which will be out before the end of the year.
