Biden asks Americans to recommit to democracy in speech in Normandy

In his second speech in as many days in Normandy, President Biden focused on rallying support for Ukraine amidst its war with Russia.

He invoked the bravery of the Army Rangers from D-Day, suggesting they would support defending freedom against Putin’s aggression in Europe today.

Although Biden did not mention his Republican rival, Donald Trump, directly, he criticized isolationist tendencies, implying a rebuke of Trump, France24 has reported.
