Concrete Evidence that the Salvation Army is stealing from vulnerable old people in their care
The Salvation Army has a track record of raising significant funds from vulnerable people under care
The truth is, I really need your help.
The Salvation Army has a reputation for exploiting individuals under its care.
I hope this video and letter serves as proof that
The Salvation Army is exploiting vulnerable people that need your
help
The Salvation Army makes repeated attempts to collect rent payments.
Despite Royal Bank and Salvation Army confirmations of payments.
Royal Bank and Salvation Army documents confirm that this is true,
The Salvation Army still wants more.
The Salvation Army does not care what the bank or anybody says.
The Salvation Army have their own method of doing things.
My goal is to show the Salvation Army's expertise and long-standing effectiveness in generating a lot of money from vulnerable people under
their care.
This is why we need your help.
On June 3, 2024, the Salvation Army attempted to take $1493.88 out of my bank account.
The truth is, on April 1, the Salvation Army took $1349.48 from the Royal Bank after I paid them $1208.06 money order for April's rent.
The rent was $1349.48, plus an extra cost of $148.40 for March and April.
Because they demanded more money for the months of March, April, and May in a letter, totaling $222.60 more.
On May 29, I gave the Salvation Army the entire $222.60 they asked for using a money order from the Royal Bank.
This proves that The Salvation Army knows what they are doing.
Before I arrived at Salvation Army Southview Heights,
I had a complete evaluation.
The Salvation Army painstakingly examined every part of my background,
On March 1, 2021, I moved into The Salvation Army.
My monthly government check was $1614.78.
The Salvation Army takes 70% of this amount.
PLUS
Cable: $30.00, Telephone: $26.20, Hydro: $18.00.
My entire rent on March 1, 2021, was $1215.58.
On October 10, 2023,
The Salvation Army said I made $26290.00.
On October 10th, 2023,
The Salvation Army informed me that my assisted living price for
January 1st will be $1533.58 plus. Cable: $30.00, Telephone: $26.20, Hydro: $18.00,
Even though the bank confirmed that
"I only collected $1,614.78 per month”
My worker informed me that what your bank says
Has no bearing on the Salvation Army.
Plus "If you can go to A and W, you can afford your rent."
So, my worker would not help
So, I called the CRA (Tax Services),
They apologized for overcharging me.
You only received $1,614.78 every month. [We will repair it.]
Then on October 14, 2023,
The Salvation Army said my assisted living rate on January 1 would be $1143.86 plus. Cable: $30.00, Telephone: $26.20, Hydro: $18.00,
Then on December 27:
The Salvation Army said my assisted living rate on January 1 would be $1275.28 plus, Cable: $30.00, Telephone: $26.20, Hydro: $18.00,
My monthly check is $1614.78.
This is their letter On January 9,2024
Dear Mr. Peterman.
I am writing to let you know that you will be charged a monthly rate for your assisted living unit. $1275.28 Plus $74.20 Total $1348.48,
After being cautioned not to trust them,
I provided them a money order for my January rent of $1218.06
As instructed by management of the Salvation Army.
On January 3,2024 the Salvation Army tried to take $1607.78 out of my bank,
My monthly government check is only $1614.78.
The Salvation Army was demanding everything. except $7.00.
The check bounced because there were insufficient funds in the bank.
This cost me $48.00, even though I tried to put a stop payment on this check.
Every time I pay the Salvation Army money for my rent,
they continuously try to withdraw it again.
On March 26, 2024,
I gave the Salvation Army a money order for $2,436.12 for
March and April rent.
On April 1, 2014, the Royal Bank of Canada
Acquired my HSBC Bank.
I paid my March, April rent on March 26, 2024,
Using a money order from HSBC.
Surprisingly, the Royal Bank extended me an overdraft.
On April 1, 2024, the Royal Bank accepted a rent check from the Salvation Army for $1,349.48.
Thanks to the Royal Bank
The Salvation Army just overcharged me twice my rent.
The Salvation Army does this all the time; when you pay,
they keep trying to collect more.
On top of that, the bank charged me an extra $10.00.
I received no word from the Salvation Army
Nothing about this Rent money,
On April 26, 2024, I obtained a money order for May's rent of $1,218.06. On April 29, 2024,
I delivered a money order to the Salvation Army to pay the
May rent, but they did not mention my previous month's rent.
On May 1, 2024, the Salvation Army attempted to withdraw $1,349.48 from my bank account, resulting in a $45.00 charge.
This May 7, 2024, letter from the Salvation Army confirms that
I paid my March, April, and May Rent.
PS.
May 7, 2024
Today at 0ne o’clock I was given a letter it reads.
Robert Peterman rent per month.
Your base rent is 1225.28.
Additional costs Hydro $18.00, Cable $30.00 and Telephone
$26.20 = $75.20 per month,
Total rent is $1349.48 per month.
The cheque amounts for March and April in the amount of $2436.12
but additional cost was not added to the rent.
Cheque amount received for May in the amount of $1218.06.
but the additional cost was not added to the rent.
You owe 3 months of additional costs
[ hydro, cable and telephone] in the amount of $222.60.
June’s rent will be taken from the bank,
Southview will not accept Cheques for the rent at the end of May,
June rent owed.
Is $1349.48 and $222.60 for the 3 months of additional costs.
On May 29, I paid the Salvation Army
The entire $222.60 they requested.
PS:

However, the transaction was returned as NSF.
This cost me $45.00 for this NSF cheque.
