Why does God remain silent?

When we cry out to God, we often encounter silence, leaving us to wonder if He is listening, especially in times of trouble. Despite praying fervently and sincerely, following His Word to "ask and you shall receive," it sometimes feels as though God does not hear us.

God's silence might not be silence at all. His silence could mean an answer will come later, or it may require patience and trust in His timing. Romans 8:28 reassures us that “All things work together for good for those who love God”.
