Ingredients:
🔹Pistachio nuts, walnuts, or any favorite (I use a mixture of pistachios and walnuts) 300 g (10.6 oz) + 20 g (0.7 oz) for decorating on top
🔹butter 200 g (7 oz)
🔹filo dough 400 g (14.1 oz)
For the syrup:
🔹sugar 200 g (7 oz)
🔹honey 200 g (7 oz)
🔹water 200 g (7 oz)
🔹juice of half a lemon

Preparation:
🔹nuts should be crushed into crumbs
🔹Melt the butter
🔹Thaw the phyllo dough in advance and, if necessary, cut it to the size of the baklava pan, approximately. (The sheets do not have to be perfectly cut, it will not be noticeable at all)
🔹Grease the baking dish with butter, put a sheet of dough, grease it. Grease each sheet of dough with butter. Sprinkle every third greased sheet with nuts. Do this until you run out of dough and nuts.
🔹Grease the last sheet and cut the baklava into rhombuses or rectangles
🔹Put the baklava in a preheated 180°C (356 °F) oven for 30-35 minutes
🔹In the meantime, make the syrup. Take a tall saucepan (because the syrup will rise strongly when boiling), and combine honey, sugar, water, and lemon juice.
🔹Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes.
🔹Pour the syrup over the baklava and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
🔹Leave to stand for 3-6 hours and enjoy.
