Ardhanareeswaram

Ardhanareeshvara ( half female and half male embodiment of God in Hinduism). It symbolizes the contrasts manifested as an integral nature of the universe.
The force of creation and destruction, the harmony of opposites which is manifested all over the universe. In Chinese philosophy it is Yin-Yang.
