House Of Wax (1953)

Directed by André De Toth, starring Vincent Price, Frank Lovejoy, and Phyllis Kirk. The film is a remake of the 1933 movie "Mystery of the Wax Museum." Vincent Price stars as Professor Henry Jarrod, a talented but disfigured sculptor who creates lifelike wax figures. After his wax museum is destroyed in a fire set by his greedy business partner, Jarrod becomes deranged and opens a new museum, using real human bodies coated in wax to create his exhibits.
