Scam Artist Steals $9K From Las Vegas Woman With A Slick Credit Card Scam

Scammer steals $9,000 from a Las Vegas woman after she gave him her credit card at her doorstep. The woman says she never gave her home address and believes the scammers already had it. The scam started with a call displaying the woman’s bank name on the caller ID. The caller instructed her to check her account, where she found two fraudulent transactions. The scammers proposed sending an associate to her house. Shortly after, someone arrived with an ‘access code’ and took her card, cutting it in half while ensuring the chip remained intact. She later called the bank and was told by a representative that the scammers already had access to her account.
