Apart from the Hollywood heartthrobs, Wolfs also stars Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, and Poorna Jagannathan among others in pivotal roles.

As soon as the trailer was shared on the internet, a bunch of fans reacted to the same. One user wrote, "Happy to see both in a movie after long time." Another mentioned, "A good Hollywood movie after a long time of those superheroes (sic)!"

Wolfs will release in India on September 27.
George Clooney and Brad Pitt's long-awaited on-screen reunion is almost here.

The actors are joining forces to star in their first film together in 16 years: "Wolfs," the trailer for which was released on Wednesday. Clooney, 63, and Pitt, 60, star in the new action comedy as two fixers hired for the same job.

In the footage, a woman (Amy Ryan) calls Clooney's professional fixer character for help disposing of a body. "There's nobody that can do what I do," he declares. But Pitt's character, another fixer, soon enters, leading to some awkward confusion as he says he was sent to deal with the same problem.

The two fixers, both lone wolves, are then forced to work together — and things get complicated as the man whose body they were disposing turns out to be alive, and a bag full of drugs is discovered.

Ahead of the trailer, Apple TV+ released a 30-second teaser showing the duo in a tense, silent car ride with only the windshield wiper making noise.

Clooney and Pitt have not been co-stars in a film since 2008's "Burn After Reading." Before that, the two real-life buddies famously starred together in the "Ocean's Eleven" film trilogy.

Technically, Clooney and Pitt's reunion already happened this month in John Krasinski's "If," though it wasn't exactly the proper on-screen pairing fans have been waiting for.

As a gag, Pitt was credited in the film as an invisible character who never speaks, while Clooney had an actual role as the voice of an imaginary friend.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight in December, Clooney sarcastically quipped he's working with "pretty boy" Pitt again because "he needed work, he's an up-and-comer." When asked if it felt like no time had passed since they last worked together, Clooney joked, "No, it feels like a lot of time has passed. Too much time."

"Wolfs" is directed by Jon Watts, marking the filmmaker's first movie in almost a decade that isn't part of the "Spider-Man" franchise. Watts helmed all three Tom Holland-led "Spider-Man" films, most recently 2021's "No Way Home." Before that, he was known for directing the Kevin Bacon thriller "Cop Car."

In an interview with Deadline last year, Clooney revealed there are already talks about a sequel to "Wolfs."

"It was a great shoot and Jon is an extraordinarily talented guy who's also really joyful," he said. "He loves what he does. We had a blast doing it and we've seen it. It's an off the charts great film and it's fun to work with Brad again. We had a really good time."

'Wolfs' release date
"Wolfs" is set for release on Sept. 20.

KEY FACTS
Apple Studios released the first trailer Wednesday for “Wolfs,” set to premiere in September, the pairs seventh film together since they first appeared on screen in 2001’s “Ocean’s Eleven.”

Pitt-Clooney films have grossed more than $2 billion in today’s dollars, but it’s been more than 16 years since they appeared on-screen together in a feature film (they are both credited as minor voice actors in the movie “IF,” currently in theaters, but their last side-by-side film was “Burn After Reading” in 2008).

“Wolfs,” directed by Marvel veteran Jon Watts ("Spider-Man: Homecoming," "Spider-Man: No Way Home"), casts the pair as rival hired killers forced to work together to cover up a high-profile crime.

“Wolfs" is the latest film from Apple's five-year-old production company Apple Studios (it also put out "Killers of the Flower Moon" and "Argylle,” among others), which reportedly won a bidding war for the movie against Sony, Lionsgate and Netflix.

SURPRISING FACT
Pitt and Clooney played main characters in “8,” a reenactment of the landmark Prop. 8 federal trial. The ballot proposition aimed to ban same-sex marriage in 2008. A challenge later made its way to the Supreme Court, which made same-sex marriage legal in all states. Pitt played Chief Judge Vaughn Walker (who ruled the initial ballot proposition was unconstitutional) and Clooney played David Boies, the attorney who argued in front of the Supreme Court. They acted alongside Chris Colfer, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Bacon and others.

TANGENT
The bromance between the two stars has extended off the screen. In the making of "Wolfs," a source told People magazine that the pair are "forever friends" that "like and respect each other no matter how many years in between gigs together.” Clooney was a guest at Pitt's surprise wedding to Angelia Jolie in 2014 (Jolie filed for divorce in 2016) and was reportedly also close with Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. Pitt missed Clooney's wedding to human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin weeks later, because he was filming the romantic movie "By the Sea" with Jolie. The pair partnered in the late 2000s to build a $3 billion Las Vegas resort called Las Ramblas, but the idea never came to fruition (Clooney and another partner in the deal, Cindy Crawford's husband Range Gerber, went on to found the successful Casamigos tequila brand).

CRUCIAL QUOTE
"Clooney and Pitt have the best male chemistry since Paul Newman and Robert Redford," CNN reviewer Paul Clinton said in 2004.

FORBES VALUATION
Brad Pitt was ranked No. 6 on Forbes' list of highest-paid entertainers last year. He is estimated to have made $100 million in 2023, largely off the sale of his production company (Plan B) and for his roles in films "Bullet Train,” “Babylon” and “The Lost City.” Clooney was estimated to be the highest-paid actor in the world in 2018 at $239 million, after selling Casamigos to liquor conglomerate Diageo for $700 million.

'Wolfs' Trailer: Brad Pitt and George Clooney Reunite After 16 Years for an Action Comedy About a Botched Killing
"Who are you?" "I'm here to take care of your problem." Sony Pictures & Apple Original Films reveal the first official trailer for Wolfs, an action comedy coming to theaters later this year (and eventually streaming on Apple TV+). Wolfs is the latest movie from director Jon Watts, who is taking a break from Spider-Man after making the three MCU movies before: Homecoming, Far From Home, and No Way Home. Though he's sticking around in NYC. The film follows two lone wolf fixers who are assigned to the same job. George Clooney and Brad Pitt (reteaming again after the Ocean's movies), two "lone wolves", are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected. The cast also includes Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, Irina Dubova, Poorna Jagannathan, with Zlatko Burić. Featuring some slick cinematography by Larkin Seiple. This seems like a good one! Aside from Clooney & Pitt teaming up, looks like an amusing story that takes them all around NYC getting into all kinds of trouble.

Here's the first official trailer for Jon Watts' film Wolfs, direct from Sony's YouTube:

Wolfs Movie

Global superstars George Clooney and Brad Pitt team up for the action comedy Wolfs, from Spider-Man director Jon Watts. Clooney plays a professional fixer hired to cover up a high profile crime. But when a second fixer (Pitt) shows up and these two "lone wolves" are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected. Wolfs is both written and directed by American filmmaker Jon Watts, director of the films Clown, Cop Car, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far from Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home previously, plus many other short films and music videos, and a few episodes of "The Old Man" TV series. Produced by George Clooney, Dede Gardner, Grant Heslov, Jeremy Kleiner, Dianne McGunigle, Brad Pitt, and Jon Watts. Sony Pictures will debut Watts' Wolfs movie in theaters nationwide starting September 20th, 2024 this fall. First impression? Look any good?
George Clooney and Brad Pitt are back together in the first trailer for new thriller Wolfs.

Following a teaser clip yesterday (May 28), we now have the full first look at their reunion movie. The thriller is the latest Apple Original movie and will come to cinemas before streaming globally on Apple TV+ like Argylle.

Wolfs casts the legendary Hollywood stars as a pair of criminal fixers who discover they've both been hired to complete the same deadly job. The two lone wolves are suddenly forced to work together if either of them wants to collect their bounty.

The Ocean's Eleven duo certainly don't seem to be having a swinging time in this new film from the Spider-Man franchise director Jon Watts.

Watts has penned the screenplay, in addition to directing and producing the project. Clooney and Pitt are onboard as producers too.

Only Murders in the Building's Amy Ryan will have a supporting role in Wolfs, alongside Euphoria and The Walking Dead's Austin Abrams as well as Never Have I Ever's Poorna Jagannathan. Not much is known yet about any of the characters these cast members will be playing.

Wolfs might not be the only time Clooney and Pitt reunite on-screen, with there recently being hints at another Ocean's film in the works.

"We have a really good script for another Ocean's now, so we may end up doing another one. It's actually a great script," Clooney told Uproxx.

The actor also teased that any sequel probably won't be called Ocean's 14, likening the project to the classic crime movie Going in Style about aging crooks looking for one last heist.

Wolfs will open in cinemas on September 20 before streaming globally on Apple TV+ at a later date.

Brad Pitt and George Clooney reunite in action-thriller film Wolfs after 15 years, playing fixers forced to collaborate on a job.
Directed by Jon Watts, the film's trailer gives a glimpse into the characters and plot, building anticipation for its September release.
With a star-studded cast including Amy Ryan and Austin Abrams, Wolfs promises to be a gripping and intense cinematic experience.
Wolfs releases its first official trailer, revealing more about the Brad Pitt and George Clooney thriller. After starring together in the Ocean's franchise and 2008's Burn After Reading, Pitt and Clooney's next project together hails from director Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home). The film features the two actors starring as lone-wolf fixers who are forced to work together after being assigned to the same job.

Sony Pictures Entertainment now releases the first full-length trailer for Wolfs, revealing more about Pitt and Clooney's characters and the plot of the film. Check out the trailer below:

After various set images piqued interest in the film, the trailer now reveals more about what audiences are in for with Wolfs, which features a number of differences from the Ocean's franchise.

What The Wolfs Trailer Reveals About The Movie
George Clooney & Brad Pitt's New Team Up Looks Like A Winner
George Clooney and Brad Pitt shooting guns in Wolfs
Unlike Burn After Reading, which isn't really about the dynamic between Clooney and Pitt's characters, the Ocean's franchise features the two actors front and center in the story as friends and fellow thieves. Wolfs is more in this same vein, though it seems to be built even more around the dynamic between the two actors. In Clooney and Pitt's new movie, however, the stars will clearly be more antagonistic toward each other, forced to get along to complete a job that appears to get way out of control.

Clooney teased last December that Ocean's Fourteen could still happen and that a script exists.

Tonally, Wolfs also seems to be an interesting departure from Clooney and Pitt's previous collaborations. While there is certainly an action-thriller element to the story, as evidenced by the inclusion of some trigger-happy criminals, there is definitely also some dark comedy at play, which could capitalize on the charisma of its two stars. Much of this comedy seems to stem from Clooney and Pitt not seeing eye-to-eye regarding how to complete their job, and the two almost have a buddy-cop dynamic.

While Clooney and Pitt are very much the stars here, the trailer also finally reveals how supporting cast members like Amy Ryan and Austin Abrams fit into the story. Ryan, it seems, gets herself into some trouble with a dead body, sparking the partnership between Clooney and Pitt's characters, while Abrams seems to be involved with some dangerous criminals, which eventually leads to a chase sequence as he wears only his underwear. Many questions still remain about Wolfs, but the latest trailer certainly makes the film one to look forward to later this year.

Is there a trailer for Wolfs?
The official trailer dropped on May 29. While we're excited to see Pitt and Clooney working together again, their Wolfs characters are less than enthused about having to partner up after they were both hired to take care of the same problem (a body)...but the body turns out to be alive and drugs are found.

"It's a different thing now," Clooney says, to which Pitt replies, "It's gonna be a long night."

Take a look at what unfolds during their action-packed night in the official trailer below:

The day before the trailer's release, Apple TV+ and Sony Pictures shared an official teaser showing Pitt and Clooney sitting in silence while the latter—looking annoyed—drove a car with squeaky windshield wipers.

Will there be a Wolfs sequel?
Clooney revealed to Deadline in 2023 that they were already discussing a follow-up to the movie. He said, "We’re already talking about a sequel for this film I did with Brad and Jon Watts.
