Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Crash with Injuries

At least one person is seriously injured following a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash on Del Prado Boulevard in Cape Coral. It happened shortly after 2:30 p.m., Sunday. Witnesses told Four in Your Corner a drunk woman crashed into another car, which hit an SUV, causing it to veer off the road and into pedestrians on a sidewalk. They said a man was with his family in the first car that was hit, and everyone in that car is OK. Two women who were walking on the sidewalk had serious injuries to their faces and were taken to the hospital, according to the witnesses. Cape Coral Police were diverting traffic in the area as they investigated.
