Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter video game for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows. It is a remake of the first Modern Warfare trilogy. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the sixteenth game in the Call of Duty franchise and is part of the Modern Warfare series. The game was announced on May 30th, 2019, and it was launched on October 25th, 2019. On March 8th, 2023, Modern Warfare was published on Steam.
After ten months, the game had sold more than 30 million copies, making it the best-selling game of 2020. Since its release in 2003, Modern Warfare has been the best-selling game in the Call of Duty franchise.
