Despite a jury convicting Traveon Hughes, Sr. of murdering his 13-week-old son, the baby’s mother spoke during his sentencing hearing in support of him. She and some other family members believe first responders and EMTs were the ones who caused the baby wipe to travel so far down the infant’s throat.
