The IGA Perth Royal Show is a cherished tradition in Western Australia, renowned for its rich history and vibrant community atmosphere. Scheduled from September 24 to October 1, 2013, this year’s show promises to be a memorable celebration with its dazzling array of attractions, including an impressive fireworks display that is sure to captivate audiences.

Dating back to 1834, the Perth Royal Show began as the Annual Fair and Cattle Show at Guildford before relocating to Claremont Showground in 1904. Despite interruptions during World War I and II, when the grounds were repurposed for military use, the show has been a continuous highlight of Western Australia's cultural calendar.

The 2013 IGA Perth Royal Show is set to showcase an incredible range of attractions, with over 400 entertainers, 300 performances, and nearly 100 hours of entertainment daily. One of the most anticipated features of this year’s event is the nightly fireworks display. This spectacular show of pyrotechnics adds a vibrant and festive atmosphere to the evening festivities, making it a must-see highlight of the Royal Show.

In addition to the fireworks, the Royal Show offers a multitude of free attractions and entertainment options for the entire family. From thrilling rides to agricultural exhibits and live performances, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The event stands as a testament to the enduring appeal and significance of the Perth Royal Show in celebrating community, culture, and tradition.

Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor, the IGA Perth Royal Show 2013 provides an opportunity to experience the best of Western Australia's community spirit and entertainment, with the fireworks display serving as a dazzling finale to each day’s events.
This year is scheduled for 24 September until 1 October 2016 at Perth, Western Australia.

The IGA Perth Royal Show is WA’s most important and longest-standing community event. The RAS first coordinated the Royal Show as the Annual Fair and Cattle Show at Guildford in 1834 before moving to Claremont Showground in 1904. The Perth Royal Show has been staged continuously since 1834 except for the years during World War I and II when the Showground was used as an accommodation and training base for military personnel including the 10th Light Horse and 16th and 17th Battalions.

All our major attractions are free. The IGA Perth Royal Show has 400 entertainers, 300 performances and nearly 100 hours of entertainment every day.
The RAS is passionate about educating people of all ages about agriculture and our interactive learning exhibits tell the story of agriculture to hundreds of thousands of urban West Australians. We believe it is important that WA families understand the significance of agriculture to our economy and appreciate the innovation, efficiency and technology that supports it. 0:23 IGA Perth Royal Show Attractions Fireworks Perth Western Australia
