The Rashtra Sevika Samiti: Women's Involvement in Anti-Muslim Narratives

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is the world’s largest cadre-based, right-wing paramilitary organization leading a network of Hindu groups. Its women's wing, the Rashtra Sevika Samiti, boasts over 5,200 branches and around 1 million members. The women's wing supports Hindutva ideology, promoting Hindu supremacy and anti-Muslim sentiments. Their involvement strengthens grassroots support for the BJP and contributes to divisive politics and increased violence against Muslims.
