𝗠𝗮𝘂𝗶 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘀e𝘅 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀

A grand jury has indicted the Maui Fire Department battalion chief charged with child sex crimes.

Shawn Rogers was arrested and charged on two counts – one for continuous sexual assault of a minor under the age of 14 and one for first-degree sexual assault.

Rogers began sexually assaulting the girl in November 2019 through April 2022.

Court documents allege that Rogers groped and r*ped the victim between those dates.

Rogers is also accused of using an inanimate object during at least one of the assaults.
