Strawberry Cheesecake "Dump Cake" | Quick & Yummy!🍓
Tried this easy recipe for the first time to see what all the hype was about...and it was a success! My family and I loved it!🧡 This Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake recipe (also known as Strawberry Cream Cheese Dump Cake) is a keeper! I will definitely be making it again. "Dump Cake" just means there is no mixing as there is with other cake recipes. So it's super quick and simple to make...especially since it uses a box cake mix. I have to admit, it's also super delicious!😋

Ingredients:
1 can (540 ml) Strawberry or Cherry Pie Filling
1 pkg. (227 g) Whipped Cream Cheese
1 pkg. (375 g) Yellow Super Moist Box Cake (or cake mix of your choice)
1 stick (1/2 cup) Butter ~ I used unsalted
Fresh Strawberries (Optional)

Instructions:
1. Spray an 8x11 inch baking dish (or one of similar size). NOTE: If you use a larger baking dish (for example, a 9x13 baking dish) you may want to use 2 cans of pie filling.
2. Evenly spread pie filling on bottom of baking dish.
3. Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese all over evenly.
4. Melt butter, add cake mix to it and combine until crumbly.
5. Bake in preheated 350 degrees F. oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until golden brown.

Serve warm with ice cream or frozen yogurt, or top with whipped cream and sliced strawberries for garnish, and enjoy! It is delicious! My family and I liked it even more the next day cold from the refrigerator. I found the strawberry filling firmed up and the cream cheese had a really good taste to it (similar to a cheese cake). Can't wait to try it with Cherry Pie Filling! This dessert is great for pot lucks and large family gatherings!
