1 cup sourdough starter
3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 cups water
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
Instructions:

Prepare the Starter: Mix your sourdough starter with water and let it sit for about 1 hour until it becomes bubbly and active.
Make the Dough: In a large bowl, combine the active starter with bread flour, water, and salt. Mix until a rough dough forms.
Knead the Dough: Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
First Rise: Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 3-4 hours or until it has doubled in size.
Shape the Dough: Punch down the dough, shape it into a round loaf, and place it on a floured surface or parchment paper. Cover and let it rise for another 1-2 hours.
Bake the Bread: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside. Carefully transfer the dough into the hot Dutch oven, cover with the lid, and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
