Tripping on Travel: Bigelow Hollow State Park, pt 5, Union, CT

By the time I reached the boat launch area of the southern point of Mashapaug Pond, also known as Mashapaug Lake, people had become to gather. Anywhere people were, I avoided. I don't want people in any of my frames. This is about the natural surroundings of the parks I visit. As I arrive, and take a quick look at the park's rules and regulations, I begin by taking a look at the beginning of Bigelow Brook as it spills out from the waters of Mashapaug Pond. From there, I take a closer look at the rocks, trees and landscape on the opposite side of the area. This concludes my footage from the park. The next video will highlight the images I captured in the frames of all the videos.

Alcohol is prohibited inside the park. All pets must be on a leash no more than 7 feet long. There is no camping or ground fires permitted in the park. Out-of-state visitors will pay a parking fee. According to the CTParks website, out-of-state visitors are required to pay a $10 fee to park on weekdays, and $15 on weekends and holidays. All visitors are required to take their trash with them when they leave.
