Dr. Mads Gilbert / Gaza 2024: A Catastrophic Man Made Disaster

Dr. Mads Gilbert is a Norwegian doctor who has long supported the Palestinan cause for freedom and justice. We spoke with Mads about the man made horrors in Gaza, the need and potential for solidarity in action and the human capacity to resist and overcome.

We want to thank Félagið Ísland-Palestína for inviting him to Iceland to tell us about his work in solidarity medicine and about the man made catastrophe going on in Gaza right now.

It has never been more important to stand up for human rights, decency and international rule of law and Mads is a shining example to us all.

It is our duty to speak out against the apartheid regime, the horrible atrocities being committed by the occupation forces and the horrendous complicity of western governments and institutions. Through mass mobilization we can force our governments to intervene, to support South Africa's case against Israel in the International Court of Justice and to call for immediate sanction and divestment from Israeli companies supporting apartheid and occupation.

The pressure needs to be increased further and we can do it. In Iceland we are very close to breaking through. Keep fighting ✊🇵🇸
