Cook with Cylia #9 - Coco beef and potatoes

ingredients (for 2p) :
- 200 mL Organic Coconut Milk
- 50g of spices (cumin, sesame ans coriander)
- 400 g Baby Potatoes
- 2 x Rump Steaks

Preparation

1. The Marinade

In a dish, place the rump steaks and the coconut milk.
Let them marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the baby potatoes.

2. the Baby Potatoes

Cut the baby potatoes in half or into quarters if they are too large.
Cook 20 minutes in air fryer or Oven OR:
In a sauté pan, heat a drizzle of cooking oil over high heat.
Sauté the baby potatoes for 5 minutes. Reduce to medium heat and continue cooking for 15 minutes, covered.
Stir regularly during cooking. Season with salt and pepper.

3. The Cooking

After the 15 minutes of marinating, reserve the coconut milk.
Rub each rump steak with the grilled spice blend.
In a pan, heat a drizzle of cooking oil over medium-high heat.
Sear the rump steaks for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Season with salt.
Continue cooking to your liking.
At the end of cooking, set aside the meat and pour in the coconut milk. Scrape up the browned bits with a spatula and heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
