All of us have a certain darkness within us; no one is completely pure and divine.

When you are doing inner work, it's crucial to be very honest with yourself, especially when you have immense dark thoughts and emotions that pop up.

The problem is many don't want to acknowledge their thoughts and evaluate their emotions when it's not positive.

Worse, you may disregard the possibility of experiencing a dark thought, which makes it even worse and grows the darkness within you.

It's only when you bring the darkness to light that you can dissolve it. If you keep it in the dark, it grows stronger and one day it might consume you, turning you into a supervillain.

So be honest with yourself; it's okay to have dark thoughts and emotions.
The key part is how you deal with them. Let these dark thoughts arise; acknowledge them, evaluate them, embrace them, and let them go.
