Alpha Male Boot Camps Are a Waste of Time

What truly makes the best of a man isn't his physicality or proclivity for violence, although those attributes are intimately tied to what he is. Everything that makes a man either rotten or great begins and evolves in the mind. A man can either be ignorant or wise, aggressive or passive, clever or dull, wicked or virtuous...but none of that is born by the way he talks, or walks, or fights. Rather, the way he moves about the world is inspired by the decisions made within, and sometimes the "alpha male" model forgets this by prioritizing machismo over contemplation. Surely, both are necessary in a world that's constantly being threatened by horrific conquest, but if there's any hope for change, if there's even a sliver of a chance that peace can be created and maintained by human beings (I'm not sure if it ever will), then what most men should do, especially those who have passed beyond their formative years, is question and reflect, and not just of what's related to society around them, but of their most intimate and often troubled depths.
