Come see this unique natural area as you enjoy the well maintained trail that starts behind the Nepean Sportsplex, with plenty of parking available. Aside from the stunning forest, there is a cool boardwalk to cross that navigates the marshy section of the loop.

Dogs are not allowed on this trail December 1 to April 14, when the route is open to snowshoers and cross-country skiers only.

All-terrain strollers or motorized equipment may be needed for the natural surface sections. Be careful since the most treacherous area is where the boardwalk is broken and skewed at a great angle.
