How to paint on shiny cardboard with acrylics. Painting monstera leaves and other houseplants with acrylics. Do your acrylic paintings on glossy cardboard turn out streaky with no coverage? I tried 4 ways to paint on coated, shiny cardboard to find the best way to prepare it.

One of my favorite Instagram artists is Leah Gardner (www.instagram.com/leahgardner.art), who paints a lot of still lives. I wanted to try something similar and painted a few houseplants I love: monstera deliciosa, golden pothos or devil's ivy and peacock plant.
