Graphic Police Respond To A Domestic Save Victims Life

Police Arrive Just In Time. Knoxville, Tennessee April 27, 2024, at around 7:40 a.m., two Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a reported domestic situation involving a man, 25-year-old Jamauri Griffin, armed with a gun at ex-girlfriend's home in the 4700 block of Santala Drive. The officers arrived at the scene at around 7:50 a.m. Officers entered the home and announced themselves as KPD officers. They encountered Griffin armed with a gun, who then shot 23-year-old woman. Officers fired in response, striking Griffin at least one time. Griffin was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the face. Her injuries were not life-threatening.
