It's eighty years since D-Day. Tonight Paul English (whose father was in the Navy during WWII) and Eric Von Essex (whose father was amongst the initial assault on D-Day) offer an alternative view.

Shortly before Eric von Essex's father passed away in 2010. Whilst he was being means tested he said, "If only we could have known during WWII how this country would turn out. If we had known we would have all thrown our rifles down and given up!" The Means Tester gave a smug grin and said, "We all have to pay our way!"
