Hunter Biden is prepping for his federal gun trial, but faces other legal challenges

Hunter Biden is facing multiple legal challenges, with his first criminal trial set to begin on Monday.

This trial, in Delaware federal court, involves federal gun charges, including making false statements during a firearm purchase and possession of a firearm while being a user of controlled substances.

These charges, brought by Special Counsel David Weiss, could result in a maximum of 25 years in prison, fines up to $250,000 per count, and three years of supervised release.

Additionally, Biden faces federal tax charges in California, also filed by Weiss.

These charges include three felonies and six misdemeanors related to $1.4 million in unpaid taxes from 2017 to 2020, Fox News reported.
