Ecuador is home to some of the most beautiful and diverse life on the planet. These two barn owls were found perched under an awning in an abandoned barn. Barn owls are indeed fascinating creatures! While they're found in many parts of the world, including Ecuador, seeing two of them together in their natural habitat is quite a rare sight. Their heart-shaped faces, white underparts, and golden-brown plumage make them easily recognizable and stunning to observe, especially in flight or perched on a tree branch. Ecuador's diverse ecosystems provide them with plenty of hunting grounds, from open grasslands to forested areas. It's always a privilege to witness such graceful creatures in the wild.
These two strike an interesting pose that makes their two faces appear as one bird.
