Late-Night DUI Drama: Future Cop’s Arrest Caught on Bodycam

On June 11, 2023, at approximately 1:30 AM, Hoboken Police Officers were patrolling the area of 12th and Hudson Streets when they observed a car cross the double yellow line on Hudson Street and then drive through a red light at the intersection of Hudson and 14th Streets. The vehicle, driven by a 23-year-old aspiring police officer, continued despite attempts to stop it, eventually halting near 1500 Washington Street. The officers detected a strong odor of alcohol on the driver’s breath and administered a field sobriety test, leading to her arrest.
