Playing in an Italian Rock Band (part 1)

My last three years as an American expat living in Italy have been a wild adventure, and I say that with equal parts fond recollection and burning aggravation. I've played in bands in the USA, UK, and Spain, some successful, some utter failures, but none of those countries have the curious particularities of playing with passionate, Italian musicians.
