Buried up to my neck in snow
Ice covered up the doors and windows
That keep you locked in your glass home

Shining horses in twilight
Galloping against prairie lines
When time afforded me you tonight
Our shadows on the walls
Dance by lamplight

Caught in a nexus of waking up
Somewhere new I can’t recall
Sunlight bakes the glass
Warming up the room
Here I wait for you
Sinking into this burning chair
A tongue of flames wisps thru my hair
I’m clinging to the walls of a house on fire

We both might say this feels right
We’re not disillusioned by love
We’re just out of time.
