Orange Fire Department got an unexpected wake-up call—a commercial building was on fire. They rushed to the scene, took one look, and decided this blaze needed a 2-alarm response. They weren't taking any chances, aiming to keep the fire from spreading to other businesses.

With some help from Anaheim Fire and the Orange County Fire Authority, our firefighters had the flames under control within 30 minutes. But just as they were ready to declare victory, the roof decided it wanted to stage an encore and reignited. It was like the building’s way of saying, “Not so fast, fellas!”

Undeterred, the firefighters quickly tackled the roof fire, showing it who’s boss. Meanwhile, Chapman Avenue was closed between Flower and the 57 freeway, turning it into an exclusive zone for our firefighting heroes.

Fire investigators were called in to figure out what caused the blaze. The only clue so far? The building was just a bit too eager to rise and shine. Luckily, no one was injured. So, while the cause remains a mystery, one thing’s clear: when it comes to fires in Orange, these firefighters don’t hit snooze!
