Whether it’s playing peek-a-boo, tickling their tummy or blowing raspberries, parents usually have a fail-safe formula for making their baby chuckle. If this isn’t a ray of sunshine on a gloomy day, we don’t know what is. This baby is one of those things you want to bookmark and return to whenever you feel down because it’s impossible not to smile when you watch it. Go ahead, try.

Kayleigh has a giggle fit when her grandma pretends to be coughing. Warning: Laughter is contagious! While playing with her grandchild, grandma makes a pretense cough that the baby finds it amusing. Her infectious and hysterical laughter fills the room with a baby noise which spreads like a disease. She is laughing so hard that her chin gets all wrinkly and her mouth is constantly open waiting for more funny parts to come along.

From the very first chuckle, babies are laughing with other people, and at what they do. The mere physical sensation of something being ticklish isn’t enough. Nor is it enough to see something disappear or appear suddenly. It’s only funny when an adult makes these things happen for the baby. This shows that way before babies walk, or talk, they - and their laughter - are social. If you tickle a baby they apparently laugh because you are tickling them, not just because they are being tickled.

Whenever Kayleigh closes her mouth it only means she is eager for more, signalizing her grandma to start coughing all over again. For this adorable baby, it is really important this show to go on and the more she laughs, the more we fall in love with her. We really wish Kayleigh to be jolly like this forever!
