In this video, I will be showing you how to make delicious jam cookies that are perfect for any occasion. These cookies have a soft and buttery texture and are filled with your choice of jam for a burst of flavor in every bite. They are simple to make and great for beginners.

Ingredients for Jam Cookies:

• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1/2 + 1/8 cup powdered sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
• 1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• A pinch of salt
• Strawberry Jam

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until well combined. Set aside.
3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy.
4. Add egg, vanilla essence and beat until well combined.
5. Add the sifted flour to the butter mixture and mix until a dough forms. Be careful not to overmix.
6. Transfer the cookie dough into a piping bag fitted with a 6B nozzle.
7. Pipe the cookie dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
8. Fill a separate piping bag with strawberry jam. Snip off the corner of the piping bag to create a hole for piping.
9. Carefully pipe a small amount of jam into the center of each cookie.
10. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 13-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
11. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool completely.
12. Once cooled, serve and enjoy your delicious jam cookies!
